Drinks.ng is looking to employ an HR generalist with outstanding analytical and communication skills.
The HR generalist will be expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills.
To ensure success, you would need to exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training.
You will ned to have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
Administer compensation and benefit plans
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
4 years of experience as an HR coordinator (essential).
Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
Excellent record-keeping skills.
Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
