Finance and Accounting Analyst at Dev-Afrique Development Advisors

We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Analyst to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of general accounting and operations tasks within the company.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions using accounting software and tools.
Perform financial analysis: Analyze and interpret financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
Prepare financial statements: Create accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations: Comply with relevant accounting principles, laws, and standards to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulations.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with other teams to develop annual budgets, monitor spending, and provide financial projections.
Support audits: Assist in internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary financial documents and reports.
Identify cost-saving opportunities: Analyze financial data to identify potential areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
Provide financial guidance: Advise management on financial decisions, investments, and strategies to optimize financial performance.
