Job Description

  • Conduct sales activities to promote and sell POS terminals to business owners and merchants.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve the target of selling at least 20 POS terminals per month.
  • Identify potential leads and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure continuous usage of POS terminals.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of the POS terminal.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to address any concerns or issues they may have and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and product development to provide feedback and insights from the field to improve product offerings.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the sales manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Job Requirement

  • Interested candidates should possess a FSLC, OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: A field sales marketing officer should possess strong sales and negotiation skills to effectively promote and sell POS terminals, negotiate deals with potential clients, and close sales successfully.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with business owners and merchants is crucial to ensure continuous usage of POS terminals. The ability to establish rapport, communicate effectively, and provide exceptional customer service is essential.
  • Product Knowledge: Having in-depth knowledge of POS terminals, their features, and benefits is important to effectively demonstrate and educate potential clients about the product. A solid understanding of the technology, functionalities, and how it can meet the specific needs of business owners is necessary.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for delivering product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients. Clear and persuasive communication is crucial in conveying the value and benefits of the POS terminal to potential buyers.
