Job Description

  • Conduct telephonic, in-person, online (chat) and video consultations with individual members.
  • Responsible for carrying out assessments and third-party referrals if applicable.
  • Serves as primary contact for offsite treatment and counselling services.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate clinical records.
  • Develop and present topic-specific work-life/wellness programs for departments and corporate organizations.
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relations with Providers in order to facilitate referrals.
  • Conduct case management activities when indicated according to account-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct EAP orientation, training, workshops and staff support activities.
  • Conduct didactic presentations, worksite/supervisory consultations, work-site interventions and critical incident debriefing as required by client companies.
  • Develops, implements, and presents EAP and Mental Health related educational presentations for the purpose of training or informing large groups of people.
  • Fields and answers employee inquiries regarding the EAP.
  • Consult with supervisors, managers and organizational leaders on employee job performance impacted by personal issues.
  • Promote the availability of employee assistance services to employees, their household members and work organizations.
  • Create confidential activity reports and identify trends for corporate organizations.
  • Follow-up with the client and/or provider to ensure needs are met.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work or related Mental Health field with 2 – 5 years of related job experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, collaboration, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to proactively analyze and assess uncomfortable situations and to identify appropriate resolutions.
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to remain professional and tactful.
