Hyde Energy began operations in Nigeria, importing and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and selling clean petroleum products. These operations established our base as a trading company. We enhanced our import and export activities by: acquiring a tank farm for storing petroleum products & securing a two-year term contract for LPG export.

Hyde Energy’s vision is rooted in our desire to be a leading oil trading and marketing company by brand presence, service delivery and profitatability. We make good use of the expertise of our people, who have extensive technical and practical knowledge of the West and Central African oil-producing regions. Over the years, we have expanded our business portfolio into crude oil, reï¬Âned oil products, LPG and dry bulk commodities. Similarly, our reach has grown, and we serve customers from offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Mauritius, London and Malta.

Job Description

  • The Business Performance Manager works with the Chief Executive and Leadership team to define and drive strategic, operational and organizational imperatives. Works across departments to align teams, create synergy, set goals, execute initiatives, and improve processes, helping the organization run efficiently and effectively.
  • The role holder is responsible for market analysis, sales analysis, analysing product lines and the overall profitability of the business.
  • Drive the annual strategic planning process and development and execution of medium and long-term business and revenue growth plan.
  • Work with Department Heads to monitor and track the implementation of strategic initiatives and recommend remedial actions for delivery delays.
  • Support functional teams by identifying priorities and implementing necessary strategies to achieve financial year target while conducting performance management for key business volume targets and strategic projects.
  • Analyze business units, market reports and benchmarks to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities; interpret data to generate company and market strategies for implementation.
  • Curate periodic meetings and reports to track business performance.
  • Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability.
  • Create and maintain reporting metrics and dashboards.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or similar discipline
  • Master’s Degree and CFA qualification will be a distinct advantage
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
  • At least 5 years experience in similar role
  • Oil and Gas experience is of additional advantage.
